I have been growing carrots indoors for quite a while. Where I live it isn't feasible to plant a garden outdoors, and they have still turned out very delicious!

Jason- I'm glad you're helping to spread the word about container gardening- especially for those of us in tight or urban spaces. I actually do this and won a Martha Stewart "Green Thumb" contest where I was featured on her radio program because of my little container garden. I grow all kinds of things (herbs, berries, fruit trees, veggies) on my very skinny front balcony that I share with other tenants. It's been such a great way to cook fresh and ensure at least part of the health factor of my food. I've kept a blog about it as well from the beginning. It shows the learning curve and perhaps some of your readers can gain some insight: http://gardeningspot.blogspot.com
