If you want a great way to eat chia seeds, try making Chia Pudding! Annemare Gianni from the Renegade Health show gave me a great recipe. I added my own twist and you don’t need any fancy equipment to make it…enjoy!

Chia Pudding (serves 1-2):

  • 1/4 whole chia seeds
  • 1 c hemp milk (almond or other non-dairy milk)
  • 1 banana
  • 2-3 prunes, pitted (you can use dates)
  • 2-4 chopped walnuts (optional, or any substitute for any nut)
  • a few dashes of cinnamon

Place the chia seeds in a bowl with 1 cup of hemp milk, stir. In a separate bowl, take the banana and smash it with a fork until it has a smooth texture, slice the prunes into squares, chop the walnuts. Add everything to the chia gel in the other bowl, add the cinnamon. Mix well with the fork. Let it soak on the counter for at least 10 minutes until thickened. Stir again before serving, add some fresh fruit on top and enjoy!

Tell me your favorite way to use chia seeds!
